Fonda, in Spanish, is a small restaurant, served by the owner and relatives. It is a place to relax, rest, eat, drink, meet with friends. Ale Cha is me, Alejandra Chaverri, photographer, and food scientist.
Thus, Fonda AleCha is a virtual tavern, to share food recipes and food information. The ingredients, at large, come from a local farmer’s market. There is also the occasional meat or seafood dish prepared with goods from local stores.
AleCha is the “Jack of many hats” at the Fonda. She tries recipes from books, modifies them most of the time dramatically, develops her own creations, or attempts to re-created what eaten in restaurants. Some recipes appears at this blog, and appropriate credit would be given to the original source or chef. Wherever AleCha is, she tries to bring something interesting to the blog.
Una Fonda es un pequeño restaurante, atendido por el propierario y sus familiares. Es un lugar para relajarse, descansar, comer, tomar y encontrarse con amigos. AleCha soy yo, Alejandra Chaverri, fotógrafa y tecnóloga de alimentos.
Así mismo, Fonda AleCha es una taverna virtual para compartir recetas e información de alimentos. Los ingredientes, en su mayoría, proviendn de ferias del agricultor . Algunas carnes y pescado se obtienen de mercados locales.

AleCha hace de todo un poco en la Fonda. Ella prueba recetas de libros, las modifica dramáticamente, hace sus propias creaciones, o trata de reptoducir lo comido en restaurantes. Algunas recetas aparecen en este blog (crédito se dará a la fuente de inspiración o chef).
Sin importar donde se encuentre, AleCha trata de añadirle algo interesante al blog.
